Podcasting politics
John Edwards has posted a Podcast in which he talks about his future, the future of America, and his wife Elizabeth's cancer treatment. As far as I know, this is the first case of a major politician putting 'podcasts' online for distribution. The page, at One America Committee's Website, has links to subscribe to the Podcast feed and instructions on using Podcasts, and comments from people who've already listened. From one:
"Somehow I was able to hear this podcast even with my older computer. I loved the format. It was intimate and personal, and made you feel like you were sitting in the kitchen with them over a cup of tea. I found this an interesting and wonderful way to hear John's thoughts on the issues we are all concerned with today."
Don't have an I-Pod or other listening device? It's not required, you should be able to open the file using your computer software. posted by liz at 12:49 PM
