Understanding the tsunami
Sometimes only a photo can show you the real meaning of something, and in the case of the southeast Asian tsunami, before and after photos. I've posted a couple sites with photos, but this one (from friend and reader Lynne) really brings it home: Before and after satellite photos of tsunami disaster sites. Click on the photo or 'after' for each site photo (there are 20) to see how it changed. posted by liz at 1:09 PM
